[ The contents is a message from Lydia Gill-Jade to the respective board members of Vyonation, Pulsar and Giles Bell informing them of her intention to not run for office in 2512. She regrets that they will need to redirect any campaign funds to Katelin Jovavich, as she was the next in line for governorship of New Amsterdam. She cites her reason for leaving as wanting to join her wife's conservation efforts in New Honolulu after her term ends, and hopes to give her young daughter a change of scenery and more worldly experience. ]

A few notes:

This message is partly why I chose to join Jovavich's campaign. If you wish to see where power and money flows, you find the source of it and try to ensure it benefits you, too. I had no desire to run for office, and simply hoped that my connections earned here might help another Displaced if they chose to take this path. Unfortunately, that seems unlikely and improbable at this point. That may be for the best. Politicians already have a bad habit of plugging their ears.

The obvious curious factor here is two things:

1. Katelin Jovavich proved to be a monumentally terrible politician. So, there must have been a reason as to why she was positioned for governor here. As the head of Terraforming for Pulsar, you'd think she'd have the power needed. New Amsterdam isn't even a port city for space.

2. Obviously, the fact that Gill-Jade knew that Jovavich was next, but Jovavich wasn't meant to run for some time. Perhaps they hoped to prep her for the position.
